Murdered girls: Man charged with wasting police time

A man arrested after hoax calls were made during the hunt for Holly Wells and Jessica Chapman has been charged with wasting police time.

Howard Youd, 45, of Hope, near Wrexham, UK, was arrested on August 16 after calls were allegedly made to Cambridgeshire Police by a man claiming to have kidnapped the girls.

A North Wales police spokeswoman says he is due to appear before magistrates in Wrexham on Monday October 7.
