Thief robs jewels with a vacuum cleaner

Armed with a vacuum cleaner and an extension cord, a thief drilled a small hole in a Danish jewellery shop window and sucked out goods worth more than €12,000 without setting off the alarm.

Police in Koldingm said a power socket in a nearby construction site provided electricity for the vacuum cleaner which was abandoned at the scene of the crime.
