At least seven die as Nepal bus plunges 330ft

A Nepalese bus veered off a mountain road and plunged 330 feet into a river today, killing at least seven people and injuring 14.

Police and locals pulled the injured from the bus before it slid into the river and disappeared in the current, said a policeman in the nearest town, Cheresha, 60 miles west of the capital, Kathmandu.
