Hundreds flee Indonesian volcano

Hundreds of people were today forced to flee a volcano which erupted on a remote Indonesian island.

The Ruang volcano began spewing ash as high as 9,800ft on the island of the same name, said Djumarma Wirakusumah, director of the Volcanological Survey.
