Queen's poverty challenge to commonwealth leaders

The Queen has challenged Commonwealth finance ministers to combat poverty among the world's neediest people.

Opening an economic summit in London, attended by Chancellor Gordon Brown, the Queen said 665 million people in the Commonwealth lived on less than £1.30 a day.
