Barrymore denies lying to inquest

Entertainer Michael Barrymore tonight denied claims he had lied to the coroner’s court which had investigated the death of a man found floating in his swimming pool.

Cheryl Barrymore, the presenter’s former wife, has alleged the star was not telling the truth when he told the inquest into the death of 31-year-old Stuart Lubbock he could not swim.
