Police investigating the murders of Holly Wells and Jessica Chapman have asked journalists to hand over film footage and notebooks if they contain evidence which could be valuable to the inquiry.

A spokeswoman for Cambridgeshire Police said about 200 journalists who reported on the investigation into the deaths of the 10-year-olds from Soham are being contacted.
