Bands gather for slow march to Ground Zero

New York police and firefighter bands today gathered for a slow procession to Ground Zero to start the September 11 anniversary commemorations.

Groups of pipe and drum players met in each of New York's five boroughs from where they will march to the site of the former World Trade Centre.
