A British Airways jet with 140 passengers on board was forced to make an emergency landing at Heathrow Airport today after developing a hydraulic problem, a BA spokeswoman said.

A British Airways jet with 140 passengers on board was forced to make an emergency landing at Heathrow Airport today after developing a hydraulic problem, a BA spokeswoman said.

Flight 1483 was flying in to the London airport from Glasgow when the pilot became aware of the problem in the hydraulics system, believed to affect steering.
