Soldier dies as Israeli tank is blown up

A bomb exploded under an Israeli tank in the Gaza Strip today, killing an soldier and wounding three.

The blast blew off the tank’s turret, which pinned down some of the soldiers, complicating rescue efforts. The explosion set the tank on fire.
