Man's body found in Suffolk churchyard

The death of a man whose body was found in a churchyard is being treated as suspicious, detectives said today.

The body was found outside St Peter’s Church in Star Lane, Ipswich, Suffolk, shortly after 7pm last night.

Police have released few details, but it was thought the man was in his thirties.

The scene remained cordoned off as forensic examinations were being conducted, said a Suffolk Police spokesman.
