Mourners arrive for Holly and Jessica's service
Mourners were today beginning to arrive for a service of celebration and remembrance in honour of murdered schoolgirls Holly Wells and Jessica Chapman.
Around 2,000 people are expected to attend the service in Ely Cathedral – a few miles from the girls’ home town of Soham, Cambridgeshire.
Special buses were laid on to bring people from Soham to Ely for the invitation-only service.
The parents of the two girls, who were expected at the service, had asked the public not to attend or gather around the cathedral.
