Shipman surgery to quit

The surgery where serial killer Harold Shipman killed at least six of his patients and plotted the deaths of many more is to close, it emerged today.

The inquiry into Shipman’s crimes found that six of his patients had been unlawfully killed or murdered during visits to his practice on Market Street in the centre of Hyde, Greater Manchester.
