Wave-powered bus fails to make a splash

Buses which pull out unexpectedly are a hazard for most drivers, but a new design of vehicle today managed to hold up an entire island’s travel plans.

Greenpeace had hoped to unveil its revolutionary wave-powered bus on the Scottish island of Islay in a blaze of publicity timed to coincide with the Earth Summit in Johannesburg.
