Carr to give video evidence
Maxine Carr will be allowed to give evidence by live video link at her next court appearance, it was announced today.
The unusual decision was taken to avoid a repetition of ugly scenes outside the Peterborough court where the defendant was due to appear tomorrow accused of perverting the course of justice in connection with the murders of 10-year-olds Holly Wells and Jessica Chapman.
