Caretaker's girlfriend charged with lying to police

The girlfriend of the man accused of murdering Holly Wells and Jessica Chapman appeared in British court today accused of lying to police.

Former teaching assistant Maxine Carr was remanded in custody for eight days by Peterborough magistrates accused of attempting to pervert the course of justice.
