Magistrates granted extension to Carr questioning

Magistrates tonight granted Cambridgeshire Police investigating the deaths of Holly Wells and Jessica Chapman an extra 36 hours to question Maxine Carr.

Earlier police were the deaths of Holly Wells and Jessica Chapman were tonight granted a ``further and final'' 36-hour extension to question Ian Huntley, a Cambridgeshire Police spokesman said.
