Members of a radical Palestinian faction on Sunday clashed with Lebanese militants inside the largest Palestinian refugee camp in Lebanon, leaving at least one person wounded, camp officials said.

Members of a radical Palestinian faction on Sunday clashed with Lebanese militants inside the largest Palestinian refugee camp in Lebanon, leaving at least one person wounded, camp officials said.

The violence, involving machine guns and hand grenades, erupted after members of the Palestinian group Asbat al-Ansar, which is on the US list of terrorist organisations, tried to detain several Lebanese militants who are hiding in the camp to avoid arrest by Lebanese authorities.
