ETA leaders sentenced to 743 years in jail

Two leaders of ETA have each been sentenced to 743-year prison terms for the 1987 bombing of a Spanish military bus that killed two people and injured 44.

The sentences, accumulated for a series of offences, are chiefly symbolic, as prison terms are limited to 30 years in Spain.
