A 47-year-old man has been arrested by detectives in the UK investigating the disappearance of schoolgirl 'Milly' Amanda Dowler.

The man, from Walton-on-Thames, Surrey, was held shortly before 2pm and is being questioned by detectives at an unnamed Surrey police station.
