US strip club welcomes schoolchildren

A strip club in the United States has thrown its doors open to schoolchildren.

The Mirage Pure Gold strip club in Minnesota has thrown open its doors to the local children and there is nothing the law can do about it.

When the Mirage opened last year in Nicollet, the town had no zoning rules for adult businesses.

Then last week, city leaders voted that all dancers must be covered, however scantily.

But the ordinance said nothing about age requirements, so the Mirage now allows teenagers as young as 16.

‘‘If the city wants to play these games with us, we’ll play,’’ said club owner Dave Benzinger.
