Iraq will emerge triumphant - Saddam

President Saddam Hussein said today that Iraq will emerge victorious from what he called hostile foreign schemes against the country.

In a televised speech marking Iraq’s national day, Saddam said Iraqis are not afraid of the ‘‘propaganda of foreign powers, and Iraq will eventually emerge triumphant.’’
