Man dies in air attack on Iraq

An civilian was killed and six were wounded in an Anglo-American air strike in southern Iraq.

An Iraqi military spokesman claims US and British warplanes bombed "civilian and service installations" in Najaf province 100 miles southwest of Baghdad.
