War of ice cream trucks erupts in New Jersey

A war of the ice cream trucks exploded in New Jersey this week as a Good Humour driver was allegedly beaten by a rival Mister Ice Cream driver.

Police said Rashed Awaadeh, 50, furious that Shiam Daoud was allegedly treading on his turf in Ramsey, punched and kicked her.

Daoud, 52, was treated for bruises to her head, face, arm and hip.

Awaadeh was charged with assault and faces up to 10 years in jail if convicted.
