Illinois mother breast feeds eight-year-old

An Illinois mother is still breast feeding her son, despite the fact he is now eight-years-old.

‘‘I think people need to see me and see my child and realise that this is a perfectly normal practice,’’ said Lynn Stuckey of Champaign.

The county prosecutor’s office has tried, but failed, to get Stuckey’s son placed in foster care - but Stuckey will not back down.

She will let her boy breast feed until ‘‘he decides to finish weaning himself’’.
