Four die after plane hits holiday crowd

Four people, including a young girl and a toddler, have died after a light aircraft plane crashed into a group of Americans celebrating the July 4 holiday.

The pilot issued two mayday distress calls shortly before crashing into a Californian park filled with families enjoying Independence Day yesterday.
