Four al-Qaida suspects die in Pakistan

Four suspected al-Qaida fugitives were killed today in a shoot-out with police in a remote region of Pakistan bordering Afghanistan, authorities said.

The suspects were stopped at a routine checkpoint near Kohat, 40 miles southwest of Peshawar.
