The leaders at the G-8 summit have agreed a package of safety measures to help prevent further terrorist attacks.

The meeting in Canada is calling for reinforced flight deck doors to be fitted to all commercial aircraft, and higher standards for issuing passports.

At the event, US President George Bush has also shown no sign of changing his view that Yasser Arafat should be replaced as Palestinian leader, despite pressure from Britain's Tony Blair.
