Four Iraqi Kurds were jailed in Boulogne today following a police crackdown against alleged trafficking of illegal immigrants near the Channel coast.

Four Iraqi Kurds were jailed in Boulogne today following a police crackdown against alleged trafficking of illegal immigrants near the Channel coast.

The four were among 13 people arrested in the police operation on Tuesday on orders of judge Fabrice Burgaud, who is investigating the shooting death of an Iraqi Kurd in Calais earlier this month.
