Nerve agents found at US military base
Traces of nerve agents and mustard gas have been found in three locations at a US base in Uzbekistan.
Thousands of US troops have moved through or been stationed in Karshi Khanabad, a former Soviet air base now used in support of the campaign in Afghanistan.
No soldiers have reported any symptoms of exposure to the contamination, US Col Roger King said from the US base in Bagram, Afghanistan.
The traces are suspected to have come from chemical weapons once stored by the Soviets at the base, he said.
