Pakistan free British journalist

A British reporter arrested in Pakistan last month amid spying allegations has been freed, his employers said today.

Amardeep Bassey, who works for the Birmingham-based Sunday Mercury, was detained on May 10 near Peshawar after crossing the border from Afghanistan.
