Raiders steal €2m from security van in France
Three masked men armed with guns and rocket launcher have escaped with more than €2m in cash after holding up a Brink’s security van in western France last night.
The men used two cars to force the armoured van off the road and then dumped nails on the surface behind them to help their getaway.
The robbery comes just a week after a 10-strong gang held up two Brink’s trucks near Paris and exchanged fire with police officers, injuring three officers.
No shots were fired in last night’s robbery in Saint-Aquilin-de-Pacy, but the two Brink’s delivery men are being treated in hospital for shock.
