A Muslim bus driver was dragged out of his bus and burned alive and a Hindu was killed in a bomb blast as violence resumed in India’s Gujarat state where nearly 1,000 people have died in two months of ethnic clashes.

A Muslim bus driver was dragged out of his bus and burned alive and a Hindu was killed in a bomb blast as violence resumed in India’s Gujarat state where nearly 1,000 people have died in two months of ethnic clashes.

Both men were killed last night in Kadi, about 30 miles south of Ahmadabad, the state’s commercial capital and scene of most of the killings.
