At least 14 killed on India-Pakistan border
Firing across the India-Pakistan border has killed at least 14 people on each side, hours after British foreign secretary Jack Straw urged the nuclear-armed neighbours to pull back from the brink of war.
The shelling resumed soon after Straw left the subcontinent after visiting Pakistani President General Pervez Musharraf and Indian Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
