Israel troops clash with Palestinians in Jenin

Israeli troops have raided the West bank city of Jenin this morning, clashing with Palestinians.

Gunships, tanks and jeeps were used in the action which follows yesterday's suicide bombing in Tel Aviv.

A device was detonated outside a shopping centre in the suburb of Petach Tikvah killing two other people, one of them a two-year old girl.

Israeli Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman, Yaffa Ben-Ari, says the attacks must stop.

"Yet again the Palestinian terror campaign continues, which only further justifies that again and again we Israel have to defend ourselves and to take all those measures."
