Major rescue in US after bridge collapses
Rescue workers are trying to release up to eleven people trapped in their vehicles after a bridge collapsed in Oklahoma in the US.
A section of a bridge over the Arkansas River collapsed during a thunderstorm, sending vehicles plunging into the water and leaving at least half a dozen people trapped.
Six cars and three tractor-trailers could be seen in the water, and dive teams are at the scene in an bid to help those in the submerged vehicles.
Muskogee County Emergency Management Services' spokeswoman Rebecca Smith said they anticipate several fatalities. At least four people were being treated for injuries
