More than 75 missing after ferry sinks in Bangladesh
More than 75 passengers are missing after a ferry sank during a storm in southern Bangladesh.
It comes three weeks after at least 400 people were killed in a similar ferry disaster.
MV Suhat, a single-deck ferry, was carrying about 100 passengers when it went down in the Boleshwar River in Pirojpur district, 85 miles of Dhaka.
The boat was traveling from Pirojpur to southwestern Khulna district.
Police spokesman Abdullah Al-Azad Chowdhury said about 25 people swam ashore. Rescuers and local fishermen are searching for the 75 missing people, but no bodies have yet to be found.
