Pakistan pushes for talks with India
Pakistan has called on the international community to press India to open talks, claiming three Pakistani civilians were killed by cross-border artillery fire.
A Foreign Ministry spokesman said Pakistani officials will discuss the tensions with the EU External Affairs Commissioner Christopher Patten who arrives in the country tomorrow.
"The European community also supports our view that there should be a reduction in the tensions and dialogue between Pakistan and India should start," the spokesman said.
Meanwhile, the Pakistani military says three civilians were killed in Kashmir, bringing the total civilian death toll to ten.
