Court issues arrest warrant for Karadzic

A Serbian court has issued arrest warrants for 17 people suspected of war crimes, including former Bosnian-Serb leader Radovan Karadzic and Bosnian-Serb military commander Ratko Mladic.

However, the warrants are unlikely to result in the men’s arrests and extradition because the Yugoslav authorities do not know their whereabouts.
