Explosion in Russia kills 10
At least 10 people have been killed and another 80 injured in an explosion in the southern Russian town of Kaspiisk.
Police said the blast happened in the town’s main square as the public were celebrating the 57th anniversary of the Allied victory over the Nazis in the Second World War.
Kaspiisk is on Russia’s Caspian coast in the Dagestan region, which has suffered frequent unrest and bombing, usually blamed on the conflict in neighbouring Chechnya.
