Mother and children shot dead by Israeli soldiers

Israeli soldiers have killed a Palestinian woman and her two children in the West Bank after a bomb went off under an army tank.

The killings occurred outside an army camp in the northern West Bank, south of the town of Jenin.

The soldiers saw suspicious figures in a nearby grove and fired on them, killing the woman and her two children.

The Israeli Defence Force expressed its deep sorrow over the incident and says it regrets the loss of civilian life.
