An investigation has found that pilot error was the most probable cause for the crash of a Singapore Airlines jumbo jet which killed 83 people in October 2000.

A report into the crash said the airliner had tried to take off on the wrong runway in Taiwan and slammed into construction debris before bursting into flames.
