Gas leak blamed as New York blast injures 50

More than 50 people were hurt in a blast near a Manhattan school today but authorities were quick to dispel fears of a terrorist attack.

About 100 firefighters dealt with the explosion near the Apex technical school in Chelsea which is believed to have been caused by a gas leak.
