100 workers arrested in US airport security crackdown

Police in the United States have arrested almost 100 workers at airports serving Washington DC as part of a continuing security crackdown started after the September 11 attacks.

The workers were detained on suspicion of lying to obtain security passes that gave them access to sensitive areas.
