Body in shark was probably dead beforehand
A person whose remains were found in the belly of a 58 stone tiger shark caught off Australia’s eastern coast was probably dead before being eaten, police said today.
Forensic experts have carried out an autopsy on the remains, which include a human skull, arm and pelvis. The grisly discovery was made by a fisherman who cut open the 10-foot long shark after catching it in waters about 60 miles north of Sydney.
