25 killed as violent storms hit Bangladesh

At least 25 people have been killed and more than 1,000 injured in two days of violent rainstorms in northern Bangladesh.

Local reports said at least 15,000 houses were destroyed by the rains, which also damaged rice crops in the farming region.
