EC to discuss rising world oil prices

The European Commission is due to meet later today to discuss rising world oil prices and the possibility of an Arab boycott of Western customers.

Iraq has already halted supplies to the West for 30 days in protest at Israel’s ongoing invasion of the West Bank, but most other oil producers in the region have said they will not join the embargo.
