Israel bombs Lebanon after further Hezbollah attacks

Israeli warplanes and artillery have attacked suspected Hezbollah positions in south Lebanon in retaliation for guerrilla attacks that wounded six Israeli soldiers.

In a fifth consecutive day of clashes in the disputed Chebaa Farms area, Hezbollah guerrillas attacked several Israeli outposts before coming under attack themselves from the Israeli army.
