Zimbabwean opposition defies anti-protest laws

Opposition supporters have marched in Zimbabwe in defiance of laws which make anti-government protest illegal.

Riot police were deployed and roadblocks erected to prevent the demonstrations by the Movement for Democratic Change, but hundreds still attended the marches to demand democratic reform by President Robert Mugabe.
