US Taliban suspect ‘tortured’, claim lawyers

Suspected US Taliban fighter John Walker Lindh was mistreated by the FBI and ‘‘tortured’’ into confessing, his lawyers claimed today.

They made the allegations after releasing a picture showing him strapped to a stretcher naked and blindfolded shortly after his capture last December.
